A few days ago I was in WHSmith and discovered a magazine dedicated to divulging the finer points of Facebook. 148 pages of ‘tips and tricks’ helping you ‘double your friends list’ and ‘create great galleries’. When people are spending their hard earned £3 on this tat instead of educating themselves with other similarly-priced tomes such as National Geographic, Time, The Economist or Newsweek, it’s no wonder people don’t have opinions on anything anymore.

Lincoln has the picture I sent him (I don’t have my magic phone cable to download the photo at the moment) and more succinct comments.

Also related, I was finally forwarded an email I actually bothered to read and find funny. Facebook in 50 years:

  1. that is hilarious.

  2. yes our facebook obsessions are well pathetic really.
