There is a hurricane on the way. Hurricane Dean. That’s the one that battered the crap out of Jamaica. Apparently its pretty much going to miss us anyway, but people are panicking. The best description I can offer is that it’s like England when we get 6 inches of snow. The roads close (dive boats have been banned from going to sea by the mayor), and people stay at home and scoff their faces (people are panic buying and not going to work and then getting high on various narcotics instead).

Wierd. We sit and wait.

  1. It was a bit like that in Osaka, when the typhoon was supposedly coming our way. A whole lot of panic over something which didn’t really affect us in the end. I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry though – take care!
